Good day.
I am a small, grey bear of exceptional quality and refinement.
As I travel through life, it often occurs to me that the things I do, and many of the thoughts I have, are worth sharing with others, so that they can learn from me.
To that end, this blog was born.
I hope you enjoy joining me on my journey through the world.
I am also a brilliant detective who solves cases that leave other bears baffled.

How long does it take you to get served in restaurants?
.This bear ordered a cheese sandwich and a strawberry milkshake forty-five minutes ago, and he's still waiting. Grrr!!!
Orso, If he placed his order that long ago. He certainly is a patient fellow. Do you suppose they ran out of strawbeary milkshakes and the waitress is afraid to tell him?
I've had a word with the bear in question and he says that it did eventually arrive; they were having trouble finding a big enough glass. He then went on to enjoy a very pleasant summer evening in the park so it ended satisfactorily.
Orso, It's me again. I see that bear is still waiting. Or is he a regular and back for more?

oh Mr Bear, you are a patient fellow, I'm so glad you got your milkshake in the end, I would have made the bestest milkshake ever for such a special guest :) Sending BIG hugs and asking if you can come and visit my bench :) Catherine x
Henry - that's the bear's name, by the way - has asked me to tell you all how touched he is by your concern over his missing sandwich and milkshake. However, now that the matter has been sorted out he has become a regular at that particular establishment, where they have had the good sense to buy in a number of extra-large plates and glasses for him. Sometimes, on particulary pleasant evenings, when he has finished his dinner he likes to climb up on the bench and delight the other diners with a song and dance routine. However, though he is now loyal to the establishment photographed, he has asked me to tell Catherine and the Bumpkin Bears that he is very keen on the sound of this 'bestest milkshake ever' that you mention, and wonders if it would be okay for him to pop over this evening around tea-time?

Service these days is appalling.
I trust he did not leave a tip!
